Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney (the attorney-in-fact) is given the power to act on the principal's behalf.

GaPS serves as Durable Power of Attorney of finances by:

  • Paying bills and creating a budget for clients to ensure personal spending funds are available.
  • Maintaining all financial assets including checking and savings accounts, and burial accounts.
  • Applying for and maintaining eligibility for government assistance programs.
