Conservator
A Conservator is appointed by a court to protect and manage the financial affairs of another person who is unable to do so because of medical or cognitive impairment.
As an appointed Conservator, GaPS:
- Maintains all financial assets: checking and savings accounts, burial funds, investments, etc.
- Applies for and maintains eligibility for government assistance programs such as Social Security.
- Pays bills and creates budgets for clients to ensure personal spending funds are available.
